The Highlight of the week

wow,been a week since i last updated.
my blog's pretty dull huh?
life's good but it can be better.
last night i went to the Acoustic set(An Acoustic Christmas) and MY GOD,i had a good time listening to the bands play.I'm not sure about Sam and Edd but i think 5 bucks is worth the 3 hours of listening to acoustic songs!
When we got there, all 3 of us were unsure where Odiocrib's real location was except that it was near the Bank Of china..While waiting for the traffic,Edd was babbling away and i was looking at Sam and did a head dance and as soon as i stopped,Sam turned and yelled
"Eh!Just now can cross siah!"
and all 3 of us laughed!you got to be there to really understand about the humour you see..
so,still feeling lost upon reaching the Bank Of china,i called Ryan(vocalist of Armchari Critic) up to check and he asked us to wait there while he come pick us up,what a sweetheart huh?and when he did,he was the kind of person i visioned him to be,small, skinny and pretty good looking and not to mention, with a darn hot voice(I'll explain when his band's turn come.)!so when we reached Odiocrib, there was an ordinary guy,a punk,a pregnant Naomi and Ramon's brother who stood at the entrance of the place like a bouncer.haha.Vis(Armchair Critic) soon turned up and we got tickets from him and we went to get stamped/chopped on.(you can see it on Edd's blog :) )
so,Carve This Heart was playing first;there were only two person in the band which is pretty rad la. and when we came, they had already started playing.they were just brilliant, vocals were extraordinary and i can definitely feel the running of emotions in all their songs.
Second band was Linoleum,i thought it was an underground band but apparently,it was Ramon's(Vocalists of Valentine's Letter) side project. They apparently had a lot of fans ,the whole tiny room called Odiocrib was packed with youths and Ramon, being an awesome person individually and as a singer, made us all feel comfortable somehow in the small little space.his voice was cracking, yes but that didn't stop him from making a super amazing performance!Than comes Armchair Critic.the saddest part of this was, when Linoleum was playing, the whole room was packed right?than when it was Armchair Critic's turn, there were only a handful of us and the most depressing part was, they were fucking good!lols.Ryan did most of the singing, and his voice is oh so good.he sounded like some British band and he was strumming on the guitar.Visa would do back ups but he sang 2 songs in their set.
And than the whole event ended with,Valentine's Letter of course and again, they were just awesome.i smiled when i hear Ramon sing 'Goodbye'.it reminded me of my NanaJ cause it used to be her favourite song ..And so,yer.
this acoustic set was the highlight of the week for me,i had enjoyed myself and it was incredible!
oh,and work at Suntec,a little update,im getting good at it FYI but theres still a long long way more to go.lol.
Starbucks after work is a treat for my tounge as well as for my eyes cause i get to enjoy the aromatic freshness of coffee and a heart throb behind the counter who always ask the same thing("Just finish from work huh?") but still worth the same answer everytime.
lol.so,Monty joined the Suntec family and i heard she did well unlike SOME OF US(right Hui Yin?) on her first day.Congrats babe! :)
so,yer,talk to you guys later!
Toodles!
:D
